Why is The Daily Scoop not open?

The Daily Scoop had closed the store in Stanley street for winter earlier this year. The shopfront has since been taken up by Mineral Hair which is great looking salon! We have hoped to find a new owner or business partner for our ice cream business to open in a new more exciting location. However, local enquiries have not resulted in anyone actually starting up the business. There are alternatives and we are very flexible with anyone who is interested to talk about running the shop as new season has now started and many great opportunities and events are coming up. The Daily Scoop has been the most popular vendor at many events such as Carols by Candlelight, Australia Day, Wodonga Carnival and many more… We hope to stay in Albury-Wodonga so stay tuned for more news, hopefully soon! If anyone is really interested we do have options to hire an industrial kitchen and prepare ice cream for big events such as Australia Day and Wodonga Carnivale – these have always delivered good profits and would show a prospective business partner the full potential of this venture, which would then lead to opening a new store for summer season of 2012/2013.
