The simple answer is winter break – we do not make ice cream over winter and will be contemplating how to start the next summer season. As many of our custoemrs know from the note on out shop door we are looking for someone to take over the lease of the existing store – this would allow us to make to a different location when the summer arrives. However, there are many more options to consider – for example we would welcome a business partner who would be interested in learning to make ice cream (not just any ice cream, but the best there is) and share the pleasures of satisfying so many local customers. Our opening hours were limited this summer already, and due to other commitments I am not able to run the store anymore next summer, without someone else who would own part of the business. For the right person there is also the option to run a soup kitchen in the winter – at the current location where everything is ready to go, including customers that were supporting the outlet for the last couple of winters.
