End of Season – orders for Mother’s Day

The summer season of 2010/2011 has come to an end, and both Wodonga and Albury stores are now closed for winter. The Daily Scoop will take orders this week for ice cream and sorbet to be made for Mother’s Day – you need to order by Friday and ice cream will be made on Saturday afternoon to be picked up at the Wodongs store. Please indicate your preferred time for pickup in the order form.

Thank you to all our customers for your support this summer, it was the most difficult summer season, as the first half of it was rained out and flooding at our Riverdeck store all the way up to Christmas. The Daily Scoop will not continue in the current location on Stanley Street, during winter we will try to find an alternative location to make our ice cream, and sell next summer in both Albury and Wodonga. There is an opportunity for someone to become part of The Daily Scoop success and join the business as part owner – this would allow the store to be open longer hours in two locations, as many of our customers have been finding the store closed at time which was convenient to them to get some ice cream. If you are interested in running a business with great potential that would make you want to come to work every day or know someone suitable for that role please get in touch for more information. There is an investment required, but it is very low in comparison to starting the business from scratch or buying a franchise, and I am happy to assist the right candidate with finance as well.
